Community Action of Laramie County
Through our programs—Crossroads Healthcare Clinic, Kinship Support Services and Self-Sufficiency—lives are being changed and improved every single day.
The Wyoming In-Home Services program may be able to assist those 18 and older who qualify, with light housekeeping, laundry services, grocery shopping and respite with a goal to prevent premature institutionalization, allowing the client to remain in their home for a longer period of time. Fees are based on a sliding scale and assessments and case management services are included.
Through temporary guardianship services, we offer the District Court Guardianship Pro Se’ packet, as well as assistance in packet completion. There are no age restrictions to access this program. Temporary guardianship provides the petitioner with the ability to achieve school registration, acquire healthcare, access legal documentation, and act on a child’s behalf. Our fee is based on the services requested and, with proof of income, is based on a sliding fee scale. (To download the Pro Se’ packet, click on the "Download Pro Se' packet" tab below.)

Families arrive at Kinship Support Services in a variety of situations. Whether it’s a family member needing assistance with temporary guardianship paperwork, or a senior or disabled adult in need of a little help at home with housework, we work to provide a sense of hope and a source of support to every family we serve.
