Hou You Can Help

Your contribution can help CALC to strengthen and expand the services and resources that we are able to provide to residents of Laramie County. If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer or donate, here’s how.

Donate to CALC
Community Action of Laramie County relies on a variety of funding sources including gifts from individuals, businesses, civic clubs, community organizations, and religious groups. Click on the program name to learn more about how each program strives to help the individuals and families of Laramie County.

  • Community Action’s Crossroads Healthcare Clinic
  • Kinship Support Services
  • Head Start: Pre-natal to 5 years
  • Self Sufficiency/Emergency Services

If you would like to direct your support to a specific CALC program or project, please indicate this at the time of your contribution. A CALC donation card is available for download here. You can also click on the DONATE button on the left to donate through Paypal.

Volunteer
Loan us your skills – we rely on volunteer assistance with projects ranging from construction to event planning. Meet new people, gain experience in a broad range of areas, challenge yourself, and get engaged in the Laramie County community!

Community Action is also seeking highly motivated individuals to coordinate fundraising projects, recruit volunteers, and serve in many other important roles. You can serve on a program advisory board, or volunteer for a specific or ongoing project.

Sponsor a Fundraising Project
Through your community organization, civic club, school or religious group you can sponsor a fundraising project. Organize a food drive; collect aluminum cans; host a fair or an art show; host a festival, auction, benefit concert, or sporting event. Let your imagination be your guide.

Shop at the Cheyenne Farmers Market
Community Action of Laramie County sponsors the Cheyenne Farmers Market, which runs for ten Saturdays from August through October. A percentage of the market proceeds go directly towards support for Community Action programs.

We’d love to tell you more...
